DIXON – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is warning about a confidence scam involving the drive to get individuals vaccinated for COVID-19. They reported receiving complaints from residents saying they are being called by an individual asking about their vaccine status and then wanting their social security number. The Lee County Health Department is not calling individuals to ask that information, and one should never give personal information to unsolicited callers.
