LELAND – The Leland police department say that on Wednesday a commercial business had received an alleged counterfeit $50 bill. They ask that anyone who deals with cash transactions take caution and carefully examine large denominations for the security features built into the currency in circulation. They ask that you report any you find to your local law enforcement agency.
