Matthiessen Park Damaged; DNR Seek Public’s Help

UTICA – Last weekend a building and a number of signs were defaced at a state park and in the community of Utica and the DNR are seeking the public’s help in locating those responsible.
According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources last weekend a bathroom building and dumpster at Matthiessen State Park was spray painted with a heart and a pledge of love from Ray to Steph. Around the same time they report other signs in the park and in the village of Utica were also defaced. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Conservation Police.
