MENDOTA – The Mendota High School Band presented the 62nd Symphony Concert “Mother Earth” this past weekend under the direction of Paula Baker, Conductor and Dr. F. Mack Wood, Guest Conductor. Consisting of six pieces, this was the first concert for the band since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When asked what it felt like to see her students perform again after the pandemic induced hiatus, Mrs. Baker stated that “Honestly, it feels like the greatest joy that I didn’t remember. I didn’t realize this was such a part of our program.”
