Hayley K. Edwards – Photo LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department PERU – A woman formerly from Spring Valley was arrested in Chicago after an investigation that began last October into narcotics distribution in the area. In a release from the Peru Police Department on Thursday, they announced that 19-year-old Hayley K. Edwards was charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance. They alleged that last year she delivered cocaine to agents in part of an undercover operation with the Trident Task Force and the Peru Police Special Investigations Unit. She was located in Chicago on Tuesday and taken to the LaSalle County Jail where she is being held on a one millions dollars bond.
