STREATOR – A motion to assist in the renovation of a Streator bar was passed at Tuesdays commission meeting. Gayle’s Monroe Tap will be getting a makeover thanks to a “Facade Grant” from the city of Streator. Owner Richard Huffines says the tap will get a paint job, windows and murals. The renovations in the 100 Block of Monroe Street are expected to be completed within the year.
