PAW PAW – A man reportedly fell asleep while driving home from work early Monday morning, striking a Semi Truck, a utility pole and rolling several times. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office before 7 AM a 20-year-old Paw Paw man was traveling west in a car on Chicago Road four miles east of Paw Paw when he dozed off and crossed the center line. A Semi-tractor trailer going east driven by a 35-year-old Paw Paw man drove into the other lane to avoid the car, however, they clipped each other, sending the car into a utility pole, knocking it down. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
