OTTAWA – No injuries were reported in a structure fire that occurred on Thursday night in Ottawa. According to Deputy Chief Brian Bressner, the Ottawa Fire Department was called just before 7 p.m. for a single-story residential fire in the 1500 block of Kansas Street. Bressner says the home was unoccupied at the time, however, a cat that lived in the home was not found when crews extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported and fire crews were able to put out the fire in just under three hours.
