No major injuries to occupants in school bus that fell over in Utica

UTICA – Occupants of a school bus sustained minor injuries after the bus fell on its side while transporting children from Deer Park Grade School in Utica. According to the Utica Fire District, they were dispatched just after 7 a.m. on Thursday for a reported school bus rollover at 2437 East 1251st road. Upon arrival to the scene, crews found the school bus on its side. Authorities say there were 4 occupants on the bus including the driver. All were taken to St. Elizabeth medical center in Ottawa with minor injuries like bumps and bruises. Assistance was provided from Grand Ridge Fire Department, Oglesby Ambulance and Ottawa Fire Department.
