OGLESBY – Scott Pavlock will be the city of Oglesby’s new police chief. The Lake Zurich man has over 30 years of law enforcement experience under his belt along with being a former army reserves master chief. Oglesby’s city council approved the hire Monday night. Police Chief Jim Knoblauch’s retirement takes into effect May 1st.
