MENDOTA – OSF St. Paul Medical Center officials say the hospital is prepared in the event of a surge of COVID-19 in the community. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Leonardo Lopez says the hospital has adequate personal protective equipment, space, beds, and ventilators available. In the event there is is an influx of patients, Lopez says the facility has a plan.
Lopez thanks the community for following Govorner J.B. Pritzker’s orders to stay at home because it does make a difference in slowing the spread of disease and overflow to the hospital.
