Studstill Media

DIXON – The outbreak at an Illinois Department of Human Services facility in Dixon continues to grow.   According to the Lee County Health Department there were 10 more positive tests found, all coming from the Jack Mabley Center.   The center houses residents with a number of behavioral and medical needs.  All of the reported 112 residents have been tested, with 34 coming back positive for COVID-19.   Authorities say many of those who have tested positive have no symptoms; and would not otherwise have been identified.   There are now 56 total infections in Lee County, with 16 of those individuals considered recovered and lifted off isolation.
