UTICA – A Sunday evening traffic stop sent two to the county jail with drug charges. The Illinois State Police say they stopped a vehicle on Interstate 80 near Utica just after 10:30 PM where they allegedly found methamphetamine. Two subjects, 27-year-old Janeka Brown of Ford Dodge, Iowa, and 31-year-old Rickey Hayes of Southfield Michigan were arrested after a search revealed nearly 1 lb of purported methamphetamine in the vehicle. Both were take to the LaSalle County Jail and are being held with bond yet to be set.
