Perfectly Flawed founder speaks at Gov. Pritzker’s press conference announcing latest drug prevention plan

SPRINGFIELD – Gov. J.B. Pritzker recently announced the release of the Statewide Overdose Action Plan (SOAP) and Luke Thomsha, founder of the Perfectly Flawed Foundation spoke on behalf of survivors with lived experience.

In 2020, Tomsha joined the Governor’s Overdose & Prevention Steering Committee. His core duty is to empower and uplift diverse groups of voices to provide support and hope in a non-judgemental way. The plan prioritizes engaging a much more diverse group of people with lived experience from the most marginalized and at-risk communities where disparities are the highest, including the Black and Latino communities, active drug users, and individuals incarcerated or exiting the criminal justice system for drug use.
