PERU – Due to a recent trustee move, the Peru Public Library District has a vacant board seat to fill. The library board is seeking someone who loves libraries to assist with advocacy, local partnerships, policy development, and financial management.
The board appoints someone to fill the vacant seat, the appointment lasting until the April 2021 consolidated election. Library trustees must currently live within the library district for a minimum of one year and be registered voters.
The seven-member Peru Library board meets eleven times a year on the second Thursday of the month with meetings beginning at 6pm.
