NEWARK – A Plano man was life-flighted after a single motorcycle crash in LaSalle County on Saturday. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office say that around 7:15 PM they were called to the area of East 30th Rd near North 39th Rd, where they found 43-year-old Joshua Smith injured. According to authorities, Smith was traveling north when his front tire reportedly started wobbling, causing him to lose control and enter the west ditch. Newark EMS was called and he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital via helicopter. The crash is still under investigation.
