TISKILWA – A Tiskilwa man has died as a result of a vehicle crash on Wednesday. According to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, just before 4 p.m., deputies responded to the scene of a single-vehicle rollover accident south of Tiskilwa with entrapment. Police say a pick-up truck appeared to have left the roadway while traveling South and traveled across both lanes before beginning to roll-over. The cab of the vehicle reportedly separated from the vehicle’s frame and continued to roll, trapping the driver inside. The driver, and single occupant, a 55-year-old male from rural Tiskilwa, was pronounced dead at the scene. The name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The accident remains under investigation by the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office and Bureau County Coroner’s Office.
