SENECA – The Seneca Police Department say there is no active threat to the community or schools after an investigation into an alleged online post from a juvenile. Authorities say Saturday morning they were alerted to a post online from an individual that showed what appeared to be a rifle and a mention of area schools. Police Chief George Lamboley Jr. said the incident has been referred to the LaSalle County States Attorney’s Office.
