WGLC ONLY MENDOTA – A single vehicle crash in Mendota Sunday night caused a gas leak and closed US Rt 34 for about six hours. Around 10:45 PM a vehicle struck a gas meter in the 600 block of 8th St, no injuries were reported, but a building and a fence were damaged.
