OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department on Thursday announced the deaths of six more residents from complications related to COVID-19, including a man and woman in their 70’s and four women in their 90’s. Since the pandemic began, 192 residents have died from the novel coronavirus. Recoveries outpaced new infections, 58 to 55. There are currently 2,978 active cases in the county according to the health department.
