Six New COVID Deaths in LaSalle & Bureau Counties

OTTAWA, PRINCETON – Six people were reported to health authorities on Tuesday to have died from complications related to the novel coronavirus.  The LaSalle County Health Department reports five LaSalle Countians, a man in his 70’s, a man in his 80’s, two men in their 90’s, and a woman in her 90’s, succumbed due to the virus, making a total of 86 deaths since the pandemic began.  The Bureau, Marshall, and Putnam Health Departments report a man in his 70’s, a Bureau County resident, has died, becoming the 22nd Bureau County COVID death.  Also on Tuesday, the LaSalle County Health Department says 3,886 people in total have been infected with the virus since the pandemic began, with 138 new cases on Tuesday.
