SPRING VALLEY – A Spring Valley man is facing drug charges after an investigation by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. On Friday they say the Spring Valley Police Department took 63-year-old John M. Hemphill into custody after authorities say he allegedly delivered less than one gram of purported crack cocaine to TRIDENT. He was charged with a class 2 felony for unlawful delivery. Hemphill was taken to the LaSalle County Jail where he is being held on $500,000 bond.
