UTICA – Get ready to see some of the areas most vibrant colors as the leaves begin to change at Starved Rock. Starved Rock State Park will host a Fall Colors guided tour beginning next Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Illinois Departments of Natural Resources Coordinator Lisa Sons says the leaves are about 30 percent of the way to being fully changed, so you can expect more yellow and golden colors soon. Knowledgable volunteers and park staff will be hosting the guided tours through Sunday October 21st.
