SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced Friday that 1,465 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. The IDPH also announced 68 additional deaths, bringing the total up to 596 deaths from COVID-19 and 17,887 confirmed cases in 83 of the 102 counties of Illinois.
