STREATOR – Streator Township High School’s board is gearing up for more upgrades anticipated to start this summer. Tuesday night, the board approved the 2020 Life Safety Implementation Project bid at just over $1.5 million. The project consists of air conditioning and heating installation in the central gymnasium and red fabricated ductwork. Superintendent Dr. Matt Seaton says they would like to get started as soon as school lets out for the summer. Phase two portions of the project like east gymnasium balcony renovations are planned for 2021.
