STREATOR – A Streator man is awaiting a bond hearing for gun charges stemming from an alleged incident Saturday. Authorities were called to the 100 block of West Kent Street Saturday around 7:45 PM for possible gunshots. The Streator Police Department say that 40-year-old David R. Baker has been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Baker was taken to the LaSalle County jail.
