Streator Moves Legal Business to New Law Firm in 2019


STREATOR – All legal work for the city of Streator will be transferred to a new law firm beginning in 2019. At this weeks council meeting city attorney Sheryl Churney announced she will be leaving the law firm she is currently at, for Klein, Thorpe and Jenkins Ltd. Churney says being a solo practitioner has been a difficult, however she’s been glad to be able to associate herself with a highly regarded local law firm. The city passed a resolution to transfer all agreements to the new law firm after January 1st, with no changes being made in financial arrangements.
