STREATOR – Streator residents want action from the city on off-highway vehicles cruising around town. One resident expressed her concern at Wednesday night’s city council meeting, saying that the riders of these side-by-sides and four wheelers are a danger to the community. She claimed people are fed up with seeing the young motorists rip through town doing wheelies. Mayor Jim Lanford says he’ll have City Manager Dave Plyman address the issue with law enforcement to see what can be done legally.
