PERU – Peru police say an unoccupied truck vs train collision occurred at the Plain Street crossing, but no injuries were reported. They say around 3 AM Friday two locomotives and six cars were damaged by the vehicle that they believe rolled onto the tracks from a nearby residence. The incident is still under investigation.
