Tri-Dent arrests Ottawa pair for alleged methamphetamine trafficking

OTTAWA – The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team and the Department of Homeland Security arrested an Ottawa pair for alleged methamphetamine trafficking. On Tuesday TRI-Dent, along with the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office and Ottawa Police executed a search warrant in the 1500 block of Kansas Street in Ottawa. During the search agents allegedly recovered a package containing approximately 250 grams of purported methamphetamine. Taken into custody was 32-year-old Elizabeth N. Rodriguez and 27-year-old Enrique Vidal Santana-Diaz. They were transported to the LaSalle County Jail and have been each charged with Class X Felony Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver. Both are being held on $1,000,000 bond.
