Victims Identified After Sunday Streator Fire

STREATOR – The victims of the fire on Sunday that took the lives of two people have been identified.  The LaSalle County Coroner’s Office says that 67-year-old Lois J. Green and 27-year-old Christian Green were found after the fire started in the 1000 block of East Wilson Street.  The single story home suffered significant damage, with no other residents reported injured.  The incident is still under investigation by the LaSalle County Coroner’s Office, the Streator Police and Fire Departments, and the Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshall.  The exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
