Walk-In flu vaccinations available at the LaSalle County Health Department

OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department will be offering walk-in flu vaccinations on select dates this fall. Flu vaccinations will be given in the Vaccination Trailer, which is located next to the COVID Testing Trailer and is in the Health Department’s parking lot. Seasonal Influenza Vaccine and Influenza HD Vaccines for persons 65 and older are available. In addition, Vaccine for Children or Children’s Health Insurance Program Flu vaccine is available for children 6 months through 18 years of age who have Medicaid. The fee for the seasonal flu shot will be $25. The fee for influenza High Dose will be $62.

• September 28, 2022 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
• October 4, 2022 1:00 pm. – 4:00 pm
• October 26, 2022 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
• November 2, 2022 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
• November 9, 2022 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
• November 16, 2022 9:00 – 1:00 pm
The Health Department is located at 717 Etna Rd., Ottawa.
We offer insurance billing or cash only payment. Debit or credit cards will not be accepted. You must have your insurance card and a Photo ID with you. No Doctor’s order is required. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please wear a mask. People who are exhibiting “flu-like” symptoms should stay home from work, out of childcare and school to minimize transmission. All LaSalle County Health Department influenza vaccines are preservative free.
