OHIO – Multiple fire departments from LaSalle and Bureau County were called on Monday afternoon for a man who fell into a grain bin in Ohio. According to Bureau County Coroner Janice Wamhoff, 57-year-old La Verne Molln of Walnut, died at his family farm after being trapped inside of a grain bin for three hours. Princeton Fire Lieutenant Scott Etheridge says first responders spent hours attempting to retrieve the man via a grain bin rescue tube, eventually succeeding, but not in time to save his life.
