Warm weather won’t stick around much longer

UNDATED – Its been three years since north central Illinois has experienced the unseasonably warm weather we’ve had these past few days. According to Weatherology Meteorologist Ray Miller, December 2016 was also a mild one, with temperatures in the upper 50s. He says high pressure patterns that have been in place across the region with a southerly wind component is bringing on warmer air.

Rain is expected to touch down during overnight hours Friday with highs around the mid to upper 50s. The wet and warm weather will stick around through Sunday night, then temps dip into the 30s for Monday.
