Winners announced for Streator’s Holiday Lighting Contest

STREATOR – Winners have been announced in the 2019 Streator Holiday Lighting Contest. The contest hosted by the Streator Chamber of Commerce, had five categories: most creative, most eccentric, most religious, business display and best overall. The most creative holiday lighting goes to Brian Martin of the 1000 block of Cleveland Avenue. Most eccentric goes to Terry Trenor of the 1700 block of North Shabbona. The most religious lighting goes to Ken Gee of the 1500 block of East Main Street. The business display went to Streator Home Savings on South Monroe and best overall, to Doug Harris of the 100 block of West First Street. The chamber encourages residents to check out all the displays around town.
