OTTAWA – LaSalle County will recognize the end of August as workforce development week. Beginning August 27, LaSalle County will provide an opportunity for the state and local workforce development boards to highlight and promote the many way in which they undertaking their work. LaSalle County encourages individuals, businesses and governmental organizations to visit and promote the programs and services offering by local workforce boards. The activities are aimed at developing strategies that can help individuals acquire the skills necessary to pursue a career in today’s competitive job market.
