SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health Tuesday announced 1,614 new cases of COVID-19, including 113 additional deaths. Since the pandemic began, a total of 122,848 positive cases have been found, including 5,525 deaths. Ten of the eleven state-managed Community Based Testing Sites will resume normal operations today, after two days of being closed out of concern for rioting.
