Peru Police Department- Photo Studstill Media PERU – A man was arrested for delivering drugs to a police officer in Peru on Friday. Peru Police say that 26-year-old Stefan K. Helpingstine of LaSalle was reported to be delivering more than 1 gram of MDMA or Ecstacy to an undercover police officer at 10:30 AM this morning in north Peru. The arrest came after a joint undercover police operation conducted by the Peru Police Special Instigation Unit and Trident Drug Task Force. Police say that Helpingstine was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
