OGLESBY – A new 12-row planter has been added to the equipment students can learn with in the ag program at Illinois Valley Community College. Last week co-coordinator Willard Mott unloaded the implement. They plan on using the IH 2150 Early Riser to plant soybeans in the next few weeks. Trevor Stanhope, Case IH planter engineer, facilitated IVCC’s use of the implement. Construction of the program’s storage and routine maintenance building was occurring nearby at the future ag complex.
