SHERIDAN – Two staff members and 8 inmates have recovered from COVID-19 infections at the Sheridan Correctional Facility. Wednesday the Illinois Department of Corrections gave an update on conditions at the prison located in LaSalle County. Three staff members and three inmates are still recovering from the Coronavirus. Last week, 10 soldiers from the 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team of the Illinois National Guard arrived to provide medical support.
