L-P High School to propose plan for fall semester

LASALLE – L-P High School has released their proposed schedule for a return to classes this fall.   The plan will be presented to the Board of Education for final adoption during the week of July 27.

13 more COVID-19 cases in DeKalb County

DEKALB – The DeKalb County Health Department reported 13 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Since the start of the pandemic, the county has had 702 confirmed cases in total, with 22 deaths from complications related to COVID-19.

Pritzker reports 1,187 new COVID-19 cases

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,187 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, along with 8 additional deaths. At his press briefing, Gov. JB Pritzker announced that the state would also be changing the boundaries

Vehicle break-ins reported in Streator

STREATOR – Multiple vehicle burglaries were reported in Streator Tuesday.  The Streator Police say that unlocked vehicles in the 200 and 300 block of South Everett Street, and in the 700 East Wilson Street were entered.   

Arrest made after July 4th gun incident in Ottawa

OTTAWA – A man from Chicago was arrested after an incident involving a gun on the 4th of July in Ottawa.  The Ottawa Police Department say they received a call around 10:15 PM from a motorist crossing
