HENNEPIN – The Interstate 180 Hennepin River Bridge will be closed for repair starting Friday morning at 7:00 AM through the weekend until Monday morning. The westbound lanes will be having concrete work done and the eastbound lanes will have to be closed as well for the staging of equipment. The Illinois Department of Transportation will be planning on replacing the entire bridge deck between now and next summer on the Gudmund Sonny Jessen Bridge. Detours will be posted.
