Intoxicated driver arrested twice in five hours

YORK COUNTY, PA —  An individual in York County was arrested for allegedly driving while under the influence after a traffic stop.  They were taken to the York County Booking Center where they were charged with driving while under the influence as well as other charges.
Five hours after the original arrest, the driver called 911 themselves because they were having trouble operating their vehicle.  When authorities arrived on scene they found the intoxicated individual trying to operate their car where it had been left after their first arrest that evening.  They were then charged with a second DUI.
