8 New Illinois Covid Deaths on Saturday

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported on Saturday eight more people lost their lives due to Covid-19.  At the same time, the state reported 1,639 additional positive coronavirus cases.  Locally, the LaSalle County Health Department reported 16 new cases, including a preteen boy.  Saturday’s totals means the county has seen 499 positive Covid-19 cases for LaSalle County since the pandemic began
