OTTAWA – Area micro-pantries will be getting restocked thanks to the hard work of Ottawa siblings who raised nearly $250. Ainsley Hilton asked her grandfather to construct a lemon-aid stand for her and her 5-year-old sister Collins, where they took it upon themselves to raise money for the neighborhood micro-pantries. They held two events, one in their Ottawa driveway and another at a car show selling drinks for a dollar each. After a visit to a grocery store over the weekend, they started stocking some of the locations with a portion of the raised funds. The girls and their mom, Kari, plan on making more trips soon to keep the pantries supplied.
