Fairbury teens identified who died in Colorado sledding incident

 
FAIRBURY – The two teens from Livingston County that died after a sledding incident in Colorado has been identified. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office says around 8:30 PM Dylan Bazzell and Drew Fehr were on the same sled that launched off a large snowbank and came down on an area of hard ice, causing significant injury. Despite immediate medical attention from emergency services, both boys could not be revived and were pronounced deceased on the scene. Officials with Prairie Central School in Fairbury issued a statement that counselors will be made available for students. The seniors were both student-athletes at the school.
