OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of recent residential burglaries. According to officials, several reports were made involving two to three Hispanic male subjects in which one comes to the residence and advises the occupant that there is a problem that needs to be addressed in the basement. Authorities go on to say 1-2 other male subjects then enter the home and steal items while the person is downstairs. The sheriff’s office says do not let anyone into your home without proper credentials and contact authorities if you encounter these individuals.
