LASALLE – The city of LaSalle’s Development Director is encouraging local business owners that have exterior renovation projects in mind this year, to apply for financial assistance. Katherine Koyak says the city’s redevelopement incentive program is a grant that helps finance permanent exterior building and site improvements for commercial and business related properties. Koyak says the city has funds available for a few more grants, depending on the needs of the applicant. She says although the program has been around, not many people are informed they can receive help from the city. Business owners interested are encouraged to apply, as the city’s fiscal year comes to a close April 30th.
