STREATOR – A Shelty dog that has been missing in the Granville and Streator area for weeks is finally reunited with her owners. After five weeks of efforts made by residents, the LaSalle, Livingston County, and Streator Animal Control, two-year-old Sophie is safe in the arms of her Granville owners. Streator Animal Control Officer Amy Ragusa says rescuing the pup took luck, a four wheeler and a couple of good men. Gary Wind and friend Jordan Donnelly, tracked down Sophie near the east side of Streator off Airport road.
