OTTAWA – Ottawa is still on the lookout for a company to take on their 2019 curb replacement project. Earlier this week, per the recommendation of Public Improvements Commissioner Marla Rodriquez, the city agreed to reject a bid for $325,000 as their budget is just over 260,000. Main areas that will undergo concrete work are East Stevenson Road, the Turnberry Subdivision, Wake Street, Nebraska Street, Post Street, Boyce Memorial Drive, East Lafayette Street and Chambers Street.
